Quick prep
Exfoliate and shave the day before, arrive with clean skin (no lotion, makeup, or deodorant), and wear loose, dark clothing.
Glow
Fifteen to thirty-five minutes in the studio. Your color keeps developing over the next several hours — then rinse and shine.
Before & after
How to get the most from your glow
A little prep makes a big difference — and simple aftercare keeps you glowing for the full 7–10 days.
Before your appointment
- Shower, exfoliate, and shave or wax at least 24 hours ahead — a clean, smooth canvas takes color best.
- Arrive with bare skin: no lotion, oil, makeup, perfume, or deodorant, which all block the solution.
- Wear loose, dark clothing and open-toe shoes, and bring a strapless top if you have one.
- Get manicures, pedicures, and waxing done before your tan, never after.
After your tan
- Let it develop — wait the number of hours Rosie gives you before your first rinse.
- First shower: lukewarm water only, no soap or scrubbing, until it runs clear. Pat dry, don't rub.
- Moisturize every day to stretch the glow, and skip long baths, chlorine, and heavy sweating.
- Near the end, a gentle exfoliate helps your tan fade soft and even.

From her calm, private studio in Midwood — or on location at your place — she does every tan herself, reading your skin, mixing your shade, and adjusting as she sprays so the finish looks like you spent a week somewhere sunny, not a night in a booth.
It’s personal, unhurried, and built on regulars who come back before every wedding, vacation, and photo shoot.

Good to know before you glow
How long does the tan last?
A Spray Tanning by Rosie glow typically lasts seven to ten days, depending on your skin and how you care for it. Rosie walks every client through the simple aftercare that stretches it as long as possible.
Will it look orange?
No. That's the whole point of custom-blending. Rosie mixes your solution to your skin tone, so the result reads natural and even — a real glow, never an orange one.
How should I prep?
Exfoliate and shave about 24 hours before your appointment, and come with clean skin — no lotion, makeup, perfume, or deodorant. Wear loose, dark clothing and bring flip-flops so nothing smudges your fresh tan.
What's in the solution?
A vegan, paraben-free, cruelty-free formula with no UV exposure. If you have sensitive skin, allergies, or are pregnant, just let Rosie know and she'll adjust the blend for you.
Do you do weddings, graduations, and events?
Yes — events are a specialty. Weddings, graduations, proms, birthdays, reunions, vacations, photo shoots — Rosie does them all, at the studio or on location. She offers trial sessions before the big day and group rates for parties. Text her to set it up.
Do you have a studio, or do you come to me?
Both. Come to Rosie's private studio in Midwood, Brooklyn (11229), or she can come to you — at home, a hotel, or an event — across South Brooklyn, for a small $20–$30 travel fee depending on distance (the studio is fee-free). She's also at the Jersey Shore in Deal, NJ seasonally. By appointment: Sunday through Thursday, 9 AM to 8 PM, and Friday until sundown; closed Saturday.
