Before your appointment
A little prep goes a long way — most uneven tans trace back to skin that wasn't ready.
- Exfoliate and shave 24 hours before — not the day of.
- Show up with clean, dry skin: no lotion, deodorant, perfume, or makeup.
- Wear loose, dark clothing. Skip tight straps and jewelry.
- Bring whatever you're comfortable in — bathing suit, underwear, or disposables.
After your appointment
How to make it last the full 7–10 days.
- Wait 8 hours before showering — no sweating or getting wet.
- First rinse: lukewarm water, no soap.
- Pat dry, don't rub.
- Moisturize daily — hydrated skin holds the tan longer.
- Skip exfoliating products and long, hot showers.
